 About Artist Ms. Lynn Teoh (張碧茵女士)

Lynn Teoh Phaik Eng, an eclectic artist whom expresses her exuberance and free flow of feelings through the bold splashes of Chinese black ink, combined with the vibrant colours of acrylic paint. These magical and wondrous paintings tell a thousand tales leaving you mesmerized and desiring for more.

Her renowned creative style of Chinese brush painting won her many awards in Asia inclusive of awards from Taiwan National Museum of History and Japan’s “United Nation Youth Art Exhibition”.

Since 1982, the demands of her Chinese paintings were reflected through numerous solo and group exhibitions in Malaysia, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Japan, etc and charity organization auctions for fund raising. From 1985, she has been appointed as Penang Chinese Art Society’s Chinese Painting Instructress. In 2008, she represented Artistic Malaysia to participate in China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industrial Fair.

Many of her distinctive paintings were collected and adorned the walls of many collectors, politicians, government agencies, corporate offices, royal family, local and oversea art museums, art galleries and institutions.

Inspired by the serenity of surrounding nature and peaceful environment, she continuously dwells in happiness of pursuing the therapeutic effect of art.

Her Motto: To promote inner peace and happiness through the appreciation and participation of Chinese brush paintings whilst continuously performing social responsibility to those in need.
